Video Content Lead

Varna/Sofia - Bulgaria

Role Summary

We are looking for a Video Content Lead who will be responsible for executing the media's video content strategy across the three main channels: Website, YouTube channel, and social media. You’ll be directing and coordinating the media’s video production efforts, including video hosting and collaboration in video editing to ensure its quality.

Main responsibilities

- Take part in the formulation of the video content strategy;
- Be capable of acting as a video presenter;
- Work in a team with camera operators and other presenters to continually push the quality of video production forward;
- Work closely with Editor-in-Chief of the media to coordinate all efforts

Skills and Qualification

Must haves:
- Video and audio content production
- Knowledge about media and digital platforms
- Work with and lead a team
- Think beyond YouTube
- Very good English pronunciation
- Excellent command of English

Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge and experience on video and audio editing.

Mobile Tech Journalist

Role Summary

PhoneArena is looking for a part-time news writer to produce coverage during daytime United States hours, including over the weekends. You will be responsible for the creation of informative and engaging news for PhoneArena’s readers.

If you are passionate about mobile technology and you have great writing skills, this opportunity will be great for your future development.

Main Responsibilities

- Find and research potential news-worthy topics;
- Produce high-quality written news posts over the week (not necessarily all weekdays), including on weekends.

Skills and Qualifications

- Experience in writing: ideally, but not mandatorily, for tech media;
- Passion for phones and in-depth knowledge about mobile technology;
- Excellent English writing (grammar and style);

- Generate, develop, and present original ideas for content;
- Follow and understand the latest innovations in mobile technology;
- Evaluate/test new products (smartphones, tablets) and analyze their performance and quality in-depth and with good understanding;
- Cover other ecosystem products, such as smartphone accessories and software applications.

Skills and Qualification

Must-haves
- Perfect written English;
- Interest in the tech industry;
- Interest in writing and creative writing;
- Skills in analyzing, interpreting, and conveying information;
- Strong computer literacy;
- Capacity and willingness to learn about technology, journalism, media, and work techniques;
